sorry to hear that man....but yes it couldve have been avoided, i almost lost my eye from being hit with a log.......because i was not wearing a helmet
this is why i like riding at state forest's because you have to have a helmet. and because it makes my dad wear his because he dosent like too.
i havent gotten that much info yet but wen i find out ill let you know . . it was 1 of the questions i was curious about too

when i wrecked last year i prolly coulda got hurt without the helmet, i went like 50mph into a ditch and flipped 6 times, on a big utility, i landed on my head , my helmet did its job, hope he pulls through.
