My buddy was telling me that this shop has recasted the dt200 motor and setting it up for the blaster has anyone else herd of this
A 240cc liquid cooled motor or a 200cc motor? Why bother recasting a dt200 motor when the original bolts in without any mods..
A DT200 is a straight bolt in swap for the blaster frame and is twice as powerfull stock for stock if you can find everything in working order.
Dont know about recasting but their is a liquid cooled kit.
Yamaha Blaster High Performance Liquid Cooling Kit
Liquid cooling isn't needed as long as you're jetting is good.
I still would love to know if this actually works and is worth it?
But ive never seen anyone with it and dont want to be the guinea pig and possible waste time buying/installing it.
Someone try one of these damn it!!!!
It might make the head a little cooler but that's it cause there Is no place around the cylinder for the coolant to go, do it's pretty useless
Would warp the head I was thinking, the cylinder and head at two different temperatures cant be good?
Here's some info on the DT swap.
