ok i just read everyones posts on this thread and someone correct me if i'm wrong here but all i do is go to walmart and buy those offroad lights and switch the bulbs out and get 25watt bulbs and wire'em up and itll work fine?

just wondering, anyone try looking at LED off road lights because they draw little to nothing as far as wattage

No, that won't work. 2 reasons here, LED's are diodes, they only work when electricity is flowing in one specific direction, with the blaster's AC power they'll rapidly flicker which will really mess with your eyes, and it'll eventually burn out the leds. Second reason, I have yet to see LED lights that are even close to being bright enough to ride by safely.

Correct

One additional thing though, with those chrome walmart lights, when you switch out your bulbs put a dab of silicone on the retaining rings to keep them from vibrating off. I found out the hard way that eventually the vibrations from the engine will work that metal ring loose and it'll fall out and your bulb will go with it.

I don't think you're going to get the bulbs you need at any of the auto shops, since the 25 watt bulbs really aren't intened to be used for automotive applications. Everything I saw at the auto parts stores were 50 or 55 watt.

Getting them at the home improvement places is about the only places you will find them locally, but if you go on ebay you can get a lot more for the same price. Since these bulbs will burn out from time to time because of the vibration they are subjected to it makes more sense to me to get a bunch of them since they're cheap. I got 10 or 12 of these bulbs on ebay for under $15 shipped, to me that makes a lot more sense than spending 10 bucks on 2 of them and then another $5 every time you lose one to a flying rock or whatever else might happen.

yea i picked up 2 bulbs and it cost me 13bucks with tax and i just busted 1 of them when i put it in so now i'm pissed and i gotta go spend 6more bucks on another dam bulb but other than that i'm happy with the set up i got....i'll try 2 put a pic up when i get that other bulb in but thanks again guys for all ur help
