Lighting trouble

Today while i was riding my lowbeam stopped working, so i switched to highbeam and it worked for a few seconds then also quit...a little later when i checked my taillight it had also blown out. Could have this been caused by snow shorting it out, or something else?

Is everything else on the blaster working fine? If so its probablly your lighting coil on your stator, or the wiring to and from it.

my ground wire on the ignition coil was broken, i fixed that but haven't tried any lights yet, i am gonna check the voltage regulator before putting anymore bulbs in. i will also check the lighting coil to see if i can find any problems with that.

Would my lights work at all if the problem is the lighting coil? I had a spare taillight bulb that i put in and the taillight worked for a few minutes before it blew, i am hoping the problem was the broken ground wire

I think is the evoltage regulator that is sending more voltage that the bulbs can handle

yeah really dude. i think he figured it out by now lol

If not, check the voltage, its probably way higher than 12 volts. Need a new regulator.
