Light Problem

Hi, i have a slight problem with the headlight on my 02. It works fine, but the switch does not seem to work. It doesn't matter if the switch is on high, low,or off, the light always shines. Could this be a faulty switch or do you think the light was wired this way by the previous owner?

is the switch even hooked up to the light, maybe the original owner bypassed the switch??

i assume it is because the wires run from the switch to the light but I will have to open it up and look if everythying is connected. What wires should be connected on the inside? Thanks for the quick response btw

the green and yellow ones form the switch, and either a black or brown one that is a ground.
