Leakdown Test result

I did a leakdown test it from 7psi to 5psi in 9min is that bad

put it under pressure again and spray your engine all over with soapy water. see where it is leaking air. i know when i did it once, it was leaking around the spark plug.

So is that bad cause in the book it say that it should 6-7psi for 6-7mins and mine did 5 in 9mins air is goin to get out of your cylinder right ?

in theory, your cylinder should be able to hold air indefinitely

it really shouldn't drop at all, just put it back under pressure and spray the engine with soapy water. for all you know, it could just be your tester is losing pressure and not the engine. but check it.

true true, mine was leaking out the exhaust port gasket...
