how do i make my lawn mower go faster than 6mph??? lol it has a 25 hp engine so it should go faster than that...... i know theres a governor..... so any of u guys ever done this??? i have a lawn mower i dont use sittin in the garage.... plz tell me how to "ungovern" the thing thanks!!!!! i want mine to do this

change the pulley on the hydro. lawn mowers aren't designed to go fast lol. but that'll definitely give you a boost...

I would use that lawn mower to mow peoples lawns for money. thats what i do and i make alot of loot.

Gearing , Fuel , Intake . start with those . what would be killer , is a riding lawnmower bodykit for your blaster , now that would fool them , custom make a mowerdeck , would be a total sleeper

swap the driven and drive pullys (the big one and small one that drive the mower)

remove mower deck. find a realllllllyy large pulley for the engine shaft for the transaxle pulley find a really small one make sure u have the keeper keys in there or ur f'ed change belts there is a piece of metal on the carburetor 90 degree angle bend it straight then u can haul ass! upgrade the throttle with an old bike cable and fab maybe a foot lever of some sort... find a govenor thats some where in the carb and remove that piece of crap connected to throttle feed. bigger back wheels will make er run make the front tires a little bit smaller than normal. ohh remove the stock muffler throw some stack or drag style pipes on it

i've had numerous lawn tractors that i used to romp on or use in pulling tractor competions. there are a few more tricks but i will not give them away they are considered unsafe but have worked for me.... i wouldn't try to wheelie that much i've snapped a few transaxles and a good amount of the engines went up in flames....

On our pulling tractor its chain drive so you just switch up the sprockets but im sure yous is belt so bigger/ smaller pulley like everyone else is saying. You could also get motor work done. Like dirtyblaster said there are a bunch more tricks but can't let them get out.

lol im puting a stack on my ingersol this spring i use it to screw around and plow like 3inches in our driveway sometimes but mostly do our walkway so i dont have to shovel its hydrostatic but i can put it in high and do like 12mph.. lol

just hrow a yz250 engine in it and convert it to chain drive, simple as that.

lol thanks everyone! i already took off my mowing deck because i have a plowl for the snow... this seems to difficult to me but it could be done!! I just have to get more familiar with the engine.... and dirtyblaster! My god do u race lawn mowers?!?!
