kx problems

I was looking at wisecos website and it says it needs to be re sleeved for any size over stock I was wondering if it does have to be re sleaved or if I can get buy with boreing it and re plating it

i was going to have my yz250 bored,and shop told me they could not do it because it was nikasil cylinder ??
but i dont know,about the kx cylinder lol

I found a cylinder and piston on ebay just a min ago for 150 if I have to sleeve it ill just buy the one off of ebay

yeah it has some type of plating on it so it would have to be plated again or sleeved,at least thats what my search just told me Nikasil is just sprayed on but tough as chit

millenium tech will weld the cylinder if it needs it and replate for a decent price. they will do stock bore and over bore. pretty much anything the customer wants,they will do. thats who did my kx. great work and great customer service

im just gonna buy a cylinder my cylinder has 1 crack in the sleeve that is about 1" long and 19 other deep scratches but the 01 cylinder looks the same as what I have so im gonna look around and see if it is and if it is im gonna buy this one that I found

well the cylinder should be here Tuesday and the carb will be a couple days more synce its coming from California
