KX 125 piston

Hi guy's just wanted to show you ppl how my kx 125 piston looks like.
looks bad hay.

That is what piston slap dose.
it suck's big time because it is going to cost me big $$$

haha nice...i just started tearing down a blaster motor..and the piston looked very similar to that..except you have more piston left than I do...

haha Ive got more piston left but can buy a seconhand blaster with the price it is going to cost me to fix it

looks like you run it to lean or you were having some pre ignition,got way to hot.

u need to get the cylinder replated

Did you use that piston with a short rod. That why the stroker motors are not dependable. They are very fast. The problem is the shorter the rod the more pressure put on the cylinder wall. Thats why a 240 long rod motor is suppose to be so much more dependable.

looks like you run it to lean or you were having some pre ignition,got way to hot.

It had a tic tic tic sound to it and I rode it like that because some people told me it was nothing major but yea it ended up bad. what is pre ignition

u need to get the cylinder replated

jip and that is going to cost me a boat load R 1.700 +/- $300 the piston kit cost less than that and it is a pro x kit
