Hey guys I want to put this on my new 02 blaster. The bike has a riva racing pipe and silencer I am pretty sure the motor is stock it has a uni filter no air box I will be changing it to a box when I can find a good deal on one of those cfm aluminum boxes. Were should I start with the jetting? And were can I get jets quickly?

Jets R Us has a 2-day shipping option and though its not cheap, they guarantee it. I had to rush out a pilot and new needle for Busco and it came in just in time.

I used to run a 28mm PWK with a pod air filter. 150 main, 48 pilot, and the needle clipped at center will get you close with richness to spare. Scottj77's cousin runs a similar setup on his Blasty and he's dialed in with a 45 pilot and I believe a 145 main. You'll be somewhere around those numbers, if not a bit richer on the main due to your bike not having an airbox at the moment. Put an Outerwears on that UNI filter and rock it for now. As long as you stay out of the water, you'll be fine with no airbox.

No problem! Also, go to ebay where they have the CFM airboxes listed and look for the one with the "Make Offer" button beside it. Don't be afraid to make an offer. I got mine from this guy for $ 75.00...

OK I have a 45pilot and a 142 main in there at the moment would it hurt to fire it up and see how it runs? The factory carb is garbage the cap is striped out and wont even thread on its just sitting there flopping around.

45 pilot will be fine. That 142 main will be lean but it shouldn't hurt anything to light it up and putt around a little while. Just don't ride hard or hold it open at WOT until you get a richer assortment of jets.

BTW, your local Honda dealer should have the Keihin jets you need. Just bring in an old one and they will match it up. (The TRX450r carbs use the same series of main jets, so any good Honda shop will have an assortment laying around to be sure the 4-stroke guys stay jetted properly)
