my kickstart doesnt catch so i jus have to pray that one out of the thousand times i kick it catches. could it be the gear torn up or something n where can i get the parts to replace it

It could be a few things.Stripped threads,bad spring etc.Best bet is to drain the fluids and pull the clutch cover off and you will see the kickstart gear in the top right.It should have a spring and it should be preloaded.Check it out for wear and let us know what it looks like.
