kickstart problems

I just bought a blaster and sometimes the kickstart will not catch and there is oil coming out of where the kick start is. is it bad??

Sounds like its time to pull the clutch cover and investigate. Probably you've got a leaky kickstart seal and a worn or broken pinion gear clip for the kickstarter. You'll see what's wrong when the clutch cover comes off. Just change the seal, check it out, put it back together with a new gasket, and you'll be good to go.
