kickstart not closing

My kick starter does not swing shut and will stay open and hit the back of my leg. What can be done about this?

I used to sale a spring and ball set to fix this problem, but haven't for a while.
lemme see if I have a few laying around down my shop ?

i used this kit to fix mine and it works perfect.... everything fits exactly but i think i threw the o ring away as it wasnt needed

Just check that the ball has not dug a furrow where it runs.
