Hi all,

I can't get my Kick Starter Spring to stay in the hole near the top of the case.

I already looked at every thread i could find on the topic:
http://www.blasterforum.com/do-yourself-20/how-install-kickstarter-gear-2227/
http://www.blasterforum.com/general-support-17/help-kick-starter-5403/

http://www.blasterforum.com/general-support-17/kickstart-25780/

but nobody says how to get the spring to stay in the hole! I tried to bend it back a little. And then a little more. I have to pull it clockwise ~120 deg. to get it into the hole at the top of the case but it pops out.

ANYBODY have a way to help me out tonight? If you don't see a solution posted by me saying what worked, I haven't figured it out yet and still need help.

I had that problem one time when installing mine. I just fought with it until it stayed in. no real advice here besides be persistant

idk if this is really stupid but take a tiny piece of paper enought to put around the end of the spring to make it fit tight in the hole then leave it and i dont think it will hurt your engine

i found that bending the spring a little so i hooks a little better and then when u put your kicker on, dont put it on the splines so its on the far right as you can get it, actually put it as far to the left so that when u kick it it doesnt pull on the spring as much when its fully extended. mine hasnt come off since i did this...
