kick start rebuild

ight so i took off the rigght side case cover pulled the gear out spring etc for kickstarter springs shot....new ones being shipped atm, how do0es the spring sit inside their properly? i kno it needs to insert into a slot in the case????
any tips on this is much aprreciated if not ehh ill figure it out
