well its warming up here, so i am finally getting the blaster broken in after porting and bore/hone from Kennedy_power. i was doing half throttle runs when i let it rev high enough to get into the pipe for the first time, i almost crapped myself. granted, there was a little snow on the ground, but once it hit the shearer pipe at half throttle, the tires busted loose and it reved out. so today i did a little full throttle-ing, suprised the heck out of me. the bike almost shot out from underneath me cause i wasn't ready for it in 2nd gear once. you can really feel the difference in power in 4th and 5th gear, where the stock jug runs out of pull, the porting just makes it pull so strong till the motor won't turn anymore.
my jetting is still a little rich too, and i am still running the stock carb and timing. I have a 35mm carb in the closet and still have to do the +6 timing that Angus recommended. looking forward to ridiculous amounts of power from my quad made for a minor. ;-) i highly recommend porting from Angus Kennedy. any questions feel free to pm me or kennedy-power. he'll be glad to help anyone with their search for more power.
