So I purchased this carb brand new at a yard sale and I am trying to identify what size it is. This is what is on the carb I guess it is a part number (PWK10AASG8) I tried google and didnt seem to find anything does anyone know what I have?

in inches it is 1.125 and mm it is 28.575. Will this carb be any improvement to my blaster other than tors removal?

I think you answered your own question.... it's a PWK 28.

Yes, that carburetor is an improvement over the stock carb for several reasons, as long as it's in good shape!

First thing, you'll need the throttle cable for TORS delete. You'll also need to do something about the airbox boot.... the stock carb inlet throat is about 1.5" and the PWK28's inlet is like 2".

The PWK has a little better top end than the stock VM26 and less turbulence on the bottom end than the stock carb too. Nice pickup, what did you pay for it if you don't mind me asking?

I am a little ashamed to say realy but I paid a whole 3.00 dollars for it it is like brand new looks like it may have had a filter on it but that is it.

I think I seen a write up in the diy section about fitting one in a stock boot. I think you have to boil the boot in hot water to soften it up then stuff the carb in and let it cool down.

Silly rabbit I said ashamed not retarted.

I have three intake boots and one is comeing with the ebay motor so I have plenty to practice on. I was thinking I could use a sanding tube and remove some matirial and then soak it in boiling water just to give it a good snug fit.
I think it would be harder to make it fit the air box I do have a few different sizes of k&n pods but I prefer the air box becouse of the dirt and water were I will be riding this blaster.

What I did for a PWK 35 was cut the end off the rubber boot and use a piece of 2.5" tubing and clamped that in. Then I got a 2.5-2.25 silicon reducer and used that to connect the tube and carb.

Ok So fitting it to the intake manifold and air box was actualy realy simple I dont have the motor yet so nothing is final and I have plenty of adjustment left for when I get the motor. I do however need some help finding the proper throttle cable to work with my stock thumb throttle. I have seen alot of different cables on ebay but I dont want to buy the wrong one so could somebody who has done this before post a link for the one I need?

You need to get the throttle cable "for TORS delete". Brand doesn't matter but the motion pro cables do seem to be a little better quality than the vito's or other brands,
