keeping the shine on

figured id toss this up for you guys. as most of you know i detail/restore collector cars for aliving ( if you can call it a living)

anyways we use a product from race glaze

RACE GLAZE PRODUCTS

there polish/sealant works great on everything INCLIUDING PLASTIC!!!

its truly good stuff.... im not paid to advertise for them.. just telling you what i know from using it at work..,,
ya know normally when you wax a car and you get wax on the black plastic trim it leaves a white haze on it?? not this stuff!!

i have personally used it on atv plastics, even my helmet... cleans paint/ plastics, removes strains and oxidisation.. and helps keep mud /water spots form sticking to your paint/ plastic..

can be bought at your higher end parts store.. for sure.. idk about autozone or advance.. but napa, car quest should... or be able to get it... its not cheap.. its like 12-14 a bottle BUT a little goes along way..

hahah thanks... im gonna try this on my quad this week.... white plastics suck when they get muddy.. they stain the plastic... im gonna polish out my plastics than use race glaze on them....

haaaa why didnt i htink of that??? we got like 3 of them.... one for house hold, one for bathroom and one for kitchen.. might have to try that... i had mud stains on white plastics

some of this mud around here in the coal strips have that orange sulfur mud in them and that sh*t really stains
and i didnt build this to look pretty or win botm, i built this to beat like a rented mule, so no i dont go around the mud, but do like to jump over it where possible

lol mines not a show quad.. but i do like it to look good for my self... no point in spending money an dtime on a nice pipe, bars, and what not and having it haul ass and look like poop

ya know... iv never tried it... wont shine it up but it should help keep it clean...


BTW +1 on the magic eraser cleaning plastics... or grease lighting orange cleaner wouldnt clean my plastics.. some rubbing with the magic eraser and they look new!!
