Kasea axle/carrier on Blaster

Took a spare blaster axle out of the carrier tonight and compared all the parts, looks like everything is the same but the Kasea uses the Shee style disc that is mounted solid. Will be ordering some bearings and putting the Kasea carrier, axle, and hydro brake setup on my Blaster. Ill get some picks up when its done, I know a few people may benifit from this as its a direct bolt in with hydro, just need a bracket for the rezi and pedal!

Junk hollow Chinese axles is something I'd never trust riding on . Not a good idea from a safety standpoint

maybe the blaster axle will work on the chinese junk and help someone out that cant get parts

those are Taiwanese and the axles are not hollow. You guys are so funny when you spout off and dont know the facts. We raced 2 seasons on a stock drr axle which is basically the same type of "chinese junk" you speak of. My son was clearing 30ft doubles and the axle never broke. We did bend one, but never broke one. I have seen them broke before with heavier riders and bad flat landings with no suspension but they are solid.
Also Taiwanese is much higher quality than true chinese & yes I know Taiwan is supposed to be part of China.
In case you didnt know, all the 50's & 90's made for Arctic cat, Can Am, Suzuki, Kawasaki & Polaris are all as you say "chinese junk" made in Taiwan and private labeled.
Also the Arctic Cat & Can Am 250 sport quads are made by Kymco as well which is also Taiwan.
The best racing mini quads made are ALL from Taiwan. DRR & Apex. Not everything from over there is junk. Just lettin yall know.

+1 some people don't know the difference, tai bikes are much higher quality, maybe they're not japan bikes, but your also getting suspension and other stuff that the japan bikes have never had! drr and apex stock have long travel...

I think the pitsters may be china bikes, but those are pretty good bikes from what I hear. SDG and the others I hear fall apart but that's all hear say, I never had a real pit bike yet, just a china one LOL and it was a pos...

The axles are identical, dont think these things are hollow either. My dad with 30+ years in steel shops, diesel mechanics, and oil rigging in Alaska said to test it with a center punch. We put them side by side and gave them both a good hit and he said the Kasea axle seems harder. I know this isnt exactly the rocket science way to test it but I agreed. In all if the axle bends then I will be the first to say it was a bad call... but I highly doubt it will. I agree with the above threads, with a little research you will find that there ARE some damn good built Tai bikes out there.

Question, the Kasea axle has a stop on the axle for the disc on the wheel side where the blaster doesnt. I am using the Kasea carrier for the hydro setup, could i use the blaster axle even though there isnt a stop for the disc?

try it! the caliper that came on my skyhawk was a gold dual piston caliper i believe, and it even had steel braided brake lines for the rear! swappin those over to the blasty.many of these skyhawk parts seem flawlessly interchangeable with the right year blaster.
