Does a uni filter require having the stock cage? If so does anybody have one? I'm using the k+n clamp with the uni filter and its not sealing very well... Any replies are appreciated, thanks.

if so what clamp are you talking about.
i have a k&n and there is no clamp

i have a uni filter but it is directly connected to the carb i eliminated the entire airbox and the filter i am using is the 2 stage 6''
with a 15 degree bend this is by far the best filter and power upgrade for the money the filter is only 15.00 good luck hope i was some help

K+N has the oval peice that goes on top of the filter... I'm currently using that on my uni, and I don't think thats right...
No i know a couple of people that run the uni filter that hooks up directly to the carb and it comes with the clamp that you are talking about.
