So you better understand about jetting. The oil you put in the motor is the trans only. Your fuel is your oiling system on a 2 stroke. The air and fuel with your oil in it needs to be mixed at the rite ratio. Anytime you do anything to increase the air flow will change that ratio. If you don't change the jets,you won't have enuff fuel that lubes and cools your motor.

ahh yes i totally forgot about the oil well ill get that filter and jet some time soon also i need to new back rims and tyres for a cheapish price any suggestions?

factory jets have more precise tolerances than aftermarket jets and are highly recomended

i also said you dont need a kit just get a couple sizes larger and you will be good. the kit i have is for rejeting a 240 kit

dude am sorry for all the nagging i dont get all the little parts of the carb you'l need new needles and everything im guessing

i think stock is 230 so find a few sizes larger and get a couple jets around there. try calling carbpartswarehouse and talk to them they are very helpfull. you will not need a new needle

just a thought on air filters, could you just get rid of the air box all together and just get a clamp on air filter straight onto the back of the carb?
