K&N Filter Any Difference?

yeah that costs a bomb on that site, im a total rookie as in jets and such so how much bigger would the jet need to be for a uni filter with air box lid off? and cheers im scouting ebay as we speak

You can get a filter cheaper on eBay and order a jet from jetsrus. What cheaper.you'll have to ask about your jetting. I'm thinking with new filter and no lid, you will need to go up two sizes.check first with others.

I've heard people say that k&n filters let some dirt get through. I don't know how many microns the holes are in a k&n filter though so I can't say.

i would go up 2 sizes on main and do a plug chop. ther is a sticky on doing plug chops, its the key to having a reliable 2 stroke. might also look into aleakdown tester. another must running a 2 stroke.

take man and its a 1999 blaster its still got the drums on the front but on the back ive converted it to a hydraulic brake using the brake caliper of my old go kart, its a huge caliper haha and as its a cable frame ive had to modify the master cylinder holder

It checks for air leaks. The only place the motor should be getting air from is the card. If it's sucking air from anywhere else,it means death to your beloved Blaster.

ok cheers the motors a good runner, never had a look at it tho from when i bought the quad i feel like i should be sometimes when you take them about you disturb something so im not sure what to do ..

Bbhhaahhaahha. When I was looking at the pic, the right front fender tip against the vans black bump made it look like an 03+ hood to me.lol. I think I need a nap.
