just got a pro circuit header what silencer to buy

Ok but my whole thing is should I keep factory gearing and just drop tire size will my front End pull up more than it already does and a 14/40 ill gain more top end but slower getting there if I'm doing trails what would I run forget the racing lol

Most common to my knowledge is the Hemispherical style head modification for the blaster, I believe some people have tried toroidal head designs also. There are some good reads on here about head design, squish band theory, and chamber sizing of the head. I've linked you to a couple of threads I enjoyed reading.

Those should help explain some of what goes on inside.

ok got the exhaust on last night all bolted up but were the header and the silencer meet i have no clamp there should i just tack weld it together so it cant seperate or is there some clamps i can put on it to hold it from seperating

Dont tack weld it it will hinder u from taking it off when need be buy the clamp that suppose to go there it's like 20 bucks maybe( if we're think of the same
Thing) look up exhaust clamp... There a aluminum firing forth a rubber material inside an 2 hose clamps, one on each end.
Also did u rejet for the pipe if not u can't ride yet or ur gonna need more then a port an polish on that cylinder

Plug chop that to confirm. What's ur mods? Just air lid off an pipe? An ur premix right?
Better to go higher an plug chop ur way down. A fouled plugs 2 bucks a new top ends a good chunk of change.

I u rig one up make sure it's high heat hose, that's why radiator hose or heart hose works well.
My blaster managed to melt through radiator hose. That's not exactally a good thing but hey happened

Don't do that. Do it correctly. You just got the pipe and you want to tack weld it to the silencer? Just say no.

I used the old clamp till I get a new one good for now but I got a problem bike idles fine as all I get on it to ride and it just breaks up so much won't run really and the flange is tight to the head but its like the header isn't tight wen its in te flange and is leaking all that holds it on is springs

Could it be too big of a jet or something else it won't go anywhere jus bog then like pick up a bit and just big down could it be because exhaust leak or jetting or what lol it's got a 300 main jet with full exhaust lid off premix and soon new reeds are on way

Yout jetting seems ok, but it will run very lean if the header is leaking.

Do not ride it until you have sealed it.
