ok put in a bigbore kit about two months ago and it recently started jumping out of gear as if stuck between two gears so i stopped riding so what are the main causes of this. fluid was fine but shifter has in and out play about an eighth inch

shifter play is normal so no worries there. i had this same problem last weekend, it was slipping from 1st to neutral and 2nd neutral and would egt caught between 1st and 2nd. All i did was change the shifter oil and it just about stopped. But if its really bad it could be that your shift shaft is stipped
