Really weird question. I got a 240 big bore kit on my blaster. Well i blew the jug off the crankcase a couple days ago broke a stud and poped the nuts off the other 3 studs. Anyone know where i can get these studs? I looked on Vito's site they dont list them. I found them on bikebandit but there OEM ones.. anyone have preferences on studs is there arp ones out there lol? or a site where i can get them would be great

How in the heck do you blow the jug off the crankcase?!?!?!?!!?

stock will be more than adequate. i'm guessing that you didn't retorque the base nuts at all after installing the 240 jug?

The studs for the jug.

More like vibrated loose and cocked the jug and bound up and broke the stud not " blew " it off stock Yamaha studs will work just fine

That is quite possible also. I was in the top of 4th and Pop.. after inspecting the threads for the nuts where left on the studs and one was broke. OOps!

I got the quad already built.. so im assuming that would be a be negative on the re-torque lol

if you were riding and it popped off you might have blown your top end. always remember... air leaks = bad on a 2 stroke

I tore the top end down. The top of the piston is a light brown, the plug is light brown. Also the piston skirts were tore up bad lucky the cylinder wasnt messed up just normal ware marks. So far just looks to need a piston, rings and the normal odds and ends
