hey guys im new here i just picked up a blaster with a vitos 240cc big bore kit, pro circuit pipe and 304 silencer, 28mm keihin carb, and v-force 3 reeds im just wondering what the jetting should be.

well thats a tough one, jetting varies per engine. somewhere between a 150 and 160 main i would imagine.
maybe someone with some experience with the 240's can chime in

I have the 240bbk with v3 reeds and the exact same pipe. is the 28mm the stock carb? i was running a 290 main in the stock carb and thats too lean.
I do not have a BBK, But from research seem like......
Lid off of air box? stock air box I'd say 300-290 main I'd also go one up on pilot, see where the air screw lands you.
CFM box and uni filter- I'd say 320-300- same one up on pilot and see where air screw takes you.
i just pulled the carb apart and found out it has a 155 main and a 50 pilot it runs ok down low but it wont even hit power band up top
Plug chop is a method for checking that jetting is correct. If you ar running to lean, KABOOM !!
