jet recomendation

i need a starting point for my main jet i have v force 3 reeds fmf fatty gold pipe with a real short powercore 2 silencer. k& n air filter with no lid on air box what main jet should i start with and i still have the tors on my blasty so should i use the vitos adjustable needle or no? i have a tors eliminator coming at the end of next week if u guy ssay i should use the needle what position should i put the clip?

most needles i have seen listed start in the middle clip position, then see how it reacts going from 1/4 to 1/2 throttle quickly, report back

The 290 is prob the right ballpark for now, maybe smaller.

Vito's adjustable needle jet thingy is a needle valve that mounts to the outside of carb (into throat) adding extra enrichment at the turn of a dial. A nifty idea I suppose but its main utility is to be able to make a small adjustment for changing altitude or temp. I wouldn't use it for determining base jetting.
