its been a long time waiting

this is way over due but i finally bought a 250r rear shock tonight!
from what i have been reading it is one of the easier shocks to mount and is like riding on pillows lol i just hate that im having to wait on it to come in! cannot wait until it does though going to put it in the day i get it

Good buy. I havent personally rode a blaster with the 250r shock but ive heard great things. What year did you purchase because I've heard people having problems mounting them prior to 86"? Doesnt it absolutely suck when you buy something and you have to wait?!

Yea just have to dremel the bushings a little and it fits right on.

i believe its post 86 but not sure on exact year because listing was "86-89 trx250r 250r trx rear oem shock suspension" but ya i did my hw right before i bought it and made sure that i got post 86

but i hate waiting on things to come in! i did the buy it now so that way i wouldn't have to wait as long lol

What color is the spring on it. The red springs were on the 88-89 years and are the prefered years to get.

I GOT IT IN AND IS AWESOME!!!
when the postman rolled up i was working on my burb and didn't really pay attention but he pulled up in my driveway and had a box in his hands and i was like a 3 yr old on christmas morning seeing all the toys! i went stright to the back yard and put it on the beast. me and my friend tested it before taking off. i weigh 135 and he is 290 and we both sat on it and still didn't bottom out! then i took around the back yard and the ride was like riding on a cloud for real!
so all in all the shock was worth $50 and is an easy mod that will save ur hind end!
