isn't this a ported cylinder? ebay

I'm with Jus_me here. Anyone can grind away at a cylinder, but will it deliver fuel and air more efficently and create more power?

For a few more Buck$, you'd be better off sending out a stocker to a builder with proven results, and having it ported to suit your needs.

As above!!!

Someone has been in there with a burr and abrasives, the question is if the material was taken from the correct place!

Depending what the bore is at in MM, if a person needed a jug/head that's a reasonable price.
IMO, doesn't look like any more than a bit of clean up you find on You tube vids. The exhaust isn't even opened up.

As to the media blasting, never heard that theory before  ? It's a very common practice, especially if expoxy will be added.

It has some work done to it. No way to tell if it's going to work. If he measured the cylinder accurately, it's .060 (1.5mm) over size. I've heard the same thing about sandblasting but never had a problem with it. I run the ported cylinders in the ultrasonic cleaner before they get painted. Maybe that's the ticket.
