Hi all.

I have just installed the 34mm PJ .. However i dont have the correct throttlecable so i am throttling with a wire in my hand! So im NOT able to drive and test..

The thing is I have put a big jet in. Its size 155 and my engine is not ported. At least not very much! . . ( i have jets in 145, 150, 152, 155 at my dispossal.)

So when i open up for the throttle it does like in the movie.. Is this what you call "boggin out"? .. Does this mean its too rich? Or is it an air"choke" issue? (too much air??? or too little??)

( I have set airscrew to 1 1/2)

downloading crap to your computer? It´s an mp4 video file? Would it be more "uncrappier" if it were online?????

You can just delete after viewing.. I can assure you there are no virus or whatever you are afraid of? ...

It just takes time to upload and process and whatnot when its a temorarily videofile thats not supposed to stay online ex. youtube.

ok ok, calm down. this is america, home of the lazy lol. and yes of course it would be better if you could just click on it w/o downloading.

ok, it took 5 min 19 sec to download then it says i need to have a program that i dont have apparently to open it so i said f*ck it. lol sorry cant help. but when your engine is loading up its like all boggy then it kinda stutters to life, spits and sputters, comes to life a lil more, then a little more then briiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinggggggg you're off.

Could this be only because I have the LID on even though 12 vents? I just some times run in a dusty location .. thats why i have it on.. I know any engine would not like foreign particles.. But before i change any jet i should try to take the lid off? See how she responds..

Hold on, just dont go assuming that it is starving for air...Do the propper testing to find this out.

When your rev your engine up and it starts to bog pull the choke out so it is cutting air off and see what happens. If the bog get BETTER then you are starving for air. If the bog gets WORSE it is because the engine is getting too much fuel and can't burn it all. Either way, the fix would be to go down a main jet or 2 and see how that works for you. With your mods a 155 seems a tad on the big side but not too much. David's 3mm stroked P&P set up is running a 150 with the 34mm PJ. We are at 2500 feet.

Elevation also has an effect on it. From sea level to about 2500 feet you should not need to change much. Once you get above that you will need to JET DOWN because the air is thinnner the higher you go.

The temperature out side has something to do with it as well...The jetting on a 60* day is going to be different than on a 110* day. You may also have to JET DOWN as the temperatures rise.

I did not get a chance to see the videos because I did not want to download anything either but I hope I could help you out.

If you bike is running with the 155 in it but just has the slight bog you are prolly right around where you need to be. Wait til you get that throttle cable so you can test it properly and try out a 152,150 and 148 and see what works best for you.

Fell free to PM me with any other questions.

Ok hey thats great.. thanks guys, I will for sure try the lid off!! but is that the only way to do it? By removing the lid ? Does everybody do that? Do you all run without ? Thats maybe the way it goes? when it gets really tuned or with big carb its natural to run without?

What about dust and particles?

If you properly clean and oil your filter before each ride it will be fine. Damage can and will only be done if you dont clean or oil your filter...

its sounds normal when idleing, all blastys make noise in the top end, but it breaks up real bad when u snap the throttle, is that without the lid on?
