my brakes worked way better before I took it all apart for powder coat. I think I put it together wrong. how does it look to you guys? it seems my brake pedal goes WAY down before the brakes work

The brake is adjustable at the caliper. Put the rear end up on something and and adjust it till it rubs (sig quote)
 
I hear ya. I'm putting a complete front hydro kit on eBay soon. I have so much stuff to sell. I just hate cleaning the parts, taking the pics, writing the ad, then going to the post office to ship. I'm going to put everything I have for sale on eBay this week and get some cash.
 
Nobody ever buys stuff on here. They want stuff for so cheap. I'm all for helping people out, but sometimes it just isn't woth it. I have a sh*t load of rims/tires but it's to expensive to ship them.
 
Haha. Well back on topic. Brake looks ok, although I have never seen a cable clamp like that.

Really? When i had my go-kart, it had a little thing like that...

I think they are called cable repairs or something, you just slip them on and screw them tight, hold pretty good too, but yours might be slipping 89?
