Is this coil bad?

Also trying to diagnois a weak spark on my project Blaster. (not my expertise) The manual give the correct resistance with a pocket tester at 1k. It shows the spark plug cap to be 4 to 6k. Am I testing it it correctly? I assuming you dont have to cut into the wires leading to the coil. I'm getting 12.76 with my cheapo MM set at 20k ohms and my coil reading rests at .7 set at 200ohms. Not sure how to translate the figures. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
