wont start untill its flodded then i turn the gas off, and hurry up and turn it on. my guess is the floats are sticking or the level needs adjusted. it leaks out the overflow too...X( whats some solutions? before i take this thing off a cliff
sounds like the floats are sticking... just tear it apart and clean it out and possibly get a rebuild kit for it... no need for cliff diving... save that for the four strokes
just cleaned it. used the Q-tip and toothpaste trick, and put it back together. kicked the $hit out of it and the turned the gas off, kicked some more then it started and i put the gas back to on and ran perfect. but it'll never idle right...
The toothpaste trick isn't a failsafe cure for a worn needle and seat.
The floats could also be sticking like you said but why if you cleaned it?
Is this a new carb or one that you have been running without problems?
Float levels don't normally need adjustment.
