how do they look?????

so hard with crap pictures. you want to look for a good seating of the reed pedals on the cage, check for gaps from the reeds being worn and bent up. and check for any splits in the reeds.

well u could use a new gasket on ur intake boot use some copper gasket and see how it runs..

hold the phone, did they change the design of the vf3's or are his broken? looks like the inner part with the cage just slid out of the frame, right chris?

while these pics r uploading could that sh*tty gasket cause the air to leak and my engine to rev higher when i pull the clutch in? cause that was happening too

so they are fine.....u know how u were saying the gasket was bad....could that cause an airleak and cause the engine to rev high when the clutch is in like 5 minutes or less into a ride??

an air leak could cause your engine to run sh*ty. try the carb cleaner trick. mist carb cleaner over the connections like between the reeds and carb/boot when its running and if it revs up theres an air leak right were u sprayed.

is it possible to give us this photo but an in focus version? if we had a clear picture of it like this, we could tell you if the reeds are bad or not.

I believe if your gasket was messed up then that might be the problem. air leaks have your motor running uncontrollably like it would rev up and when you lay on the gas it bog. you can mess up your engine that way. best thing is to buy a gasket for like 5 to 10 bucks. And the gasket is there for holding in air. without it your done.

while you got them reeds out look into the cylinder and see if there are windows in the piston skirt on the intake side. may have to slowely move the kick starter to see
