i just put a fmf exhaust and silencer on my blaster and i just put in a fmf power up jet kit in the carb why when i give it gas it takes a while for the idle to drop back down
 
That is a sign of it running lean. What jets do you have in there right now? How many turns out is your idle screw? You should have a 32.5 pilot and around a 270 main.
 
Have you checked for air leaks?

Is the exhaust sealed properly at the jug?

Have you set the float level and adjusted the idle?
 
i put clip on #2 on a new dno309 needle and removed stock main jet and put on dxp360 if that helps thx in advance

none of those #'s mean much to us here, they are not mikuni #'s
most on here using fmf pipes just retune the airscrew on the stock pilot jet, (link above) and leave the stock needle on the middle clip, then throw a 300 main in to start and plug chop to adjust the main

those aftermarket needles have proven to be problems in a stock carb.
 
thx im putting everything like it was and im waiting for 270 to come in the mail and i watch all your vids when i have a prob good stuff
