i have a 2005 blaster all stock . just the airbox lid off and it wont idle it revs good you can tell there is a little loss of power and its blowing quite a bit of white smoke out the pipe ... can some one help me please im a newbie

woahh people..start with the simple stuff. maybe you need to clean the air filter? as for the white smoke: im really not sure.. :S but if you have the airbox lid off you may need to clean your filter.. mine was dirty once and it would rev good but not idle.. and there was a huge loss in power

would a bad float cuase it not to idle it just started pouring gas out of the over flow

how bought you let us handle it because obviously you dont know. white smoke is crank seal and he says hes geting alot of white smoke. burning gear oil is going to mess with the running of the engine and probably the cause of the idling problem.

yeah its a leak of some sort causing you to burn clutch oil, you can usually tell if its your crank seal by taking the filler plug off after starting the bike but be ready to shut it down cuz if its a bad enough leak it will rev up really fast due to the air coming in from somewhere other than the carb...

yeah need to drain all the oil, take off the clutch cover and take off the gears and such connected to the crank on that side. then you gota get the seal out. i dont think it would cost that much to get a shop to do that, it might be a pain if its your first engine job.

thanks man i hope thats what it is it just seams that it has to be that cuaase ive went over everything but compression but its runs good so i really dont think it could be compression
