idle change with headlight

i have an 03 blaster. i worked out most of the bugs but noticed that the idle will drop when the headlight is on. i set it the idle to a happy medium but is this normal?

my 04 does the same thing. stalls sometimes at idle when i flip the headlight on

kinda figured that because of the load on the stator and electronics of the newer year blasters

mine shut off when i turned on the headlights till i figure out that the shop wired the key switch into the lights

The engine idle can drop when you load the engine down.

I would get some power into that thing so a little load from the headlight won't shut it down.

get LED bulbs front and rear so it wont use too much power. so far i got rear LEDs and searching for a way to fab LEDs in the fronts

Ya LEDs are the way to go since you can make some brighter than stock but most dont draw more than 5 -10 watts

Probably due to a weaker spark from the current draw going to the lights at idle.
