Went to an auction today and saw 2 motors sitting on the ground. One looked exactly like a blaster motor and was like sweet maybe a good spare. Went to it and it didn't look right, it had a 5 wire stator (I know the newer ones had these), the clutch cable was on the opposite side. That's all I noticed, it had compression. There was a honda motor sitting there to and that spins freely. Well I was interested in the lot, (there was polaris scrambler plastics also in the lot) and well I paid $7 for the lot. LOL. Couldn't be any happier but when I got it home reliiazed it wasn't a blaster motor. My question is does anyone know what these motors are? Also scored a 99 kawasaki bayou 220 for $280 running!

Looks like the Yamaha motor came with a boost bottle from the factory. What bikes came with a boost bottle?
I find a quick way to post from an iPad is to take a screen shot of the pic and post it.
I saves all the palava of uploading the photo bucket.
Google 1983 Yamaha it 175. That looks like the motor, it has a boost bottle and the sprocket and clutch cable are on the right side.
