you put 16oz to five gallons? youre short 4 oz for a 32:1 mix. what you got now is about 40:1 ,Spectro is a good name. i prefer the Golden Spectro Castor mix myself. can go wrong with bean oil man. synth is good stuff to though.
thanks for replying, yeah i think i want to go 32:1 so should i just add 4 more oz to my 5 gallon batch and it would be 32:1 and also do you know how many Ml 4 oz is? sorry for all the questions
no worries, questions are good! and no, i dont know how many ml. i just checked my handy dandy mixing cup and it doesnt give ml. sorry. but yes, 4oz more and youll have 5 gal at 32:1
ok i just googled it 4 us fluid OZ is is 118 ML, and since my spectro oil measures in ML i will just add 118 ml to my 5 gallon batch and i will have 32:1! sweet ok then i will do another plug chop and see were im at. also do you think the mods in my sig are correct to what jets im using and my 32:1 mix?
id get 2, a 270 and 290. its nice to have, and your plug chop May tell you to go down a size. Or up a size! besides for 10 bucks its good to have a couple o sizes in your box!
get a couple jets starting from 270-300 when adding more oil you will actually be leaning it out.

Well at 40.1 youre actually rich so you would go down on jet sizes.
Its a bit confusing at first.But heres how it works at 32.1 your leaning the mixture out with more oil so you go up on jets to compensate for the lack of fuel.
Now its the opposite when you add less oil.With less oil you now have more fuel making it rich.
If it were me id run 32.1 synthetic and stay with it.I had a similar setup to yours and i ran a 300 main.
Btw i run this AMSOIL - INTERCEPTOR? Synthetic 2-Cycle Oil (AIT) ive used this in all my 2 strokes for years and its amazing forget that bean oil run synthetic!

How long does it take you to burn through 5 gallons of premix.
The reason I ask is, that premix tends to go off if stored for a period of time..
I have a rule to only mix up what is needed for the coming ride, so that I dont have fuel sitting in the can going stale.
