I now see why you need a good port job after taking the intake off my motor. It is rough as a corn cob in there. I didn't look at the exhaust side yet I only looked in through the intake and DAMN!!!! I see now how so much power can be freed up. If I can I'll take a good pic and post it.

yeah, i knife edged that center pillar, carved a little out of the top of the intake and made intake ports a little bigger, carved out the exhuast a little and polished it up too. its not near as bad as the intake. noticed a difference runnin it. might get bored again some day and do a 3 port exhaust and some booster ports in the intake.
