Every step with pictures please. I want it to look good and hold good and not chipped. Dont tell me to PC it cause it costs to much.

it WILL chip and wear eventually. as for not being worth it, i wouldn't say that. its really not hard to do, and you can always touch it up down the road.

If your not using good paint then yea its cheap, and it will chip and ware out fast if you ride alot no matter how good the prep work is,also touch up does not look right on down the road after the original is faded.

Just my opinion from experiencing spray paint.

Tell me your spray paint is better then mine?

And this is bead blasted, soap and water washed, dryed, primed with high heat, gas resist, oil resist spray,5 coats, sanded inbetween, painted it with high heat gas resist oil resist metalcast 5 layers, then same for the gloss.

Your will do this just as mine did.

not saying it WON'T wear out, and it will last for a while, but at the end of the day...it IS a quad and it WILL get scratched/chipped/wear out/break/be a money pit, thats half the fun of owning one

i just painted my cousins frame i sand blaster it primered it 2 times sanded it in between coats then put 8 coats of high heat engine enamel and did 4 coats of high heat clear coat and hes been riding it for 3 weeks now and hasnt chipped or worn off or nothing

wait....did you not sand the frame after bead blasting? if so there's your problem. the paint needs MECHANICAL adhesion as well as chemical adhesion. hit the whole thing with 180 or 220 and THEN prime it

even if you have to redo it every season its worth it, im gonna do mine soon. who cares if it rubs off or chips. its not a showpiece its a toy.
