The way your saying it makes it kind of hard to understand. The piston should go up and down a couple of times in one kick. If it's fine on the first kick then not working rite on the second kick, something may be wrong with the kick starter. The only other think I can think of at this time is that maybe your carb is flooding and over loading your cylinder. A clearer descipion would help to better understand.

When I kick It the piston will go up once, and back down. If I kick It again the kick starter wont go down, If I take my top end off and put It back on, I can kick It again..... I got my piston rings In the Right spot.

Dude !!! You got two threads going for same topic X(:-/ Have you tried turning it over by hand with the flywheel? With head off to try to figure out what's up?I:I

none of those would stop your piston from moving up and down.
is there somthing stuck in the bottom end crank area?
you might have to pull your clutch cover off and have a look in there to see if u can spot anything out of place
or maybe its somthing on the stator side

you might want to clean that out just cause.
but pull your stator cover off and try turning it by hand and see if it stops.if it does try listening for sounds and pin point it if you can

Did you connect the piston to the connecting rod and put in new circlips? It should make quite a few cylcles when kick unless you are kicking it easy.

I would give some advice but this guy has got me lost. I don't know what the hell he's got going on with the motor. I thought it was all together.

Did you blow the old piston up? If so you might have a chunk still in the bottom end. Try turning by flywheel, when it stops , turn oppisite direction and see if it stops same spot and tell us what posistion that is, bottom of stroke, just as exhaust port closes, top of stroke

i got it all together and yes the side of my skirt broke off but i put my engine back together and its all together i just dont have my carb hooked on the the head of my jug aing on and my pipe aint on

okay slow down daulton.
when you blew it up did you have it fully disassembled and cleaned out?
did you bore it up another size at all?
did you at least oil the jug and piston before reinstallation?
with the entire top end off does the cranshaft do full cycles?

the side of my piston broke off and instead of boring it i just bought a new top end and piston and yeah if i got the jug off the crank does a full cycle i thing the piece of my piston that broke off is hiding in my bottom end and i dont know what im doing with bottom ends

if you lost a piece of your piston into the bottom end of the engine you NEED to split the cases to mainly clean out any debris, and secondly check for damage.
if you dont have knowledge of the case splitting procedure(like myself) i recomend sending it to a professional for disassembly and reassembly . Ken OConnor did mine and will always be my top choice for engine work.

you cant run it unless you got the piston piece out. thats your problem. get it out before you crack cases.. you might have already
