ok i bought blaster and it was running great but then it wouldn't idle. So i called dealer and they said it sounds like a carb problem so I took the carburetor off and cleaned it but i messed with this little gold screw right on the side were the gas flows into carb also i mess with the throttle screw now i can get it to start and idle but it has very little power when i ride..Does anyone know what i messed up and if i could fix it. o yea my K&N air filter might be damaged because i cleaned that to but threw it in the dryer I re oiled it though and im lost Idk what myt problem is ??????Any help greatly appreciated

yea it was my first 4 wheeler i really didn't know it would be bad for it until i read a little about stuff online? now my filter looks a little crumpled and it sounds kinda funny when i run it ? Do you know y i might be losing power

Well do you have the stock filter?
try that, maybe you melter the k&n somehow ahha im not to sure.
Is your choke on?
if you leave it on, it will bog.
Are you premixing your gas or is teh stock injector system working?
if your running the injection, are you using 2 stroke oil?

well when you start it does it idle high or does it stall?
did you mess with the air/fuel screw at all?
didnt happen to pull a plug off the old oil injection hole?
did you remove your aibox lid before this happened?

yea thats what it the air/fuel screw. Only problem now is i dont have a tachometer to adjust my throttle right.o well i guess ill have to waste hundreds at the dealer now but at least i know theres no engine damage.. Whew Thanks for the help man ill give you a rep point thanks man

ok, turn the air/fuel screw all the way in, and turn it 1.5 turns out, thats the stock setting

and to adjust the idle turn the knob under the seat next to gas tank clockwise for higher idle, and make sure your filter is good and dont take the airbox lid off without installing a bigger main jet

your idle is not a big problem, you have a stock carb? if you do the idle is on top of the tors unit, a good idle is where it is near a stall but won't. thats where mine is. it took me 2 weeks to do it because i was fighting problem after problem, lol

just a quick thought, How are you reeds? Make sure they have No cracks or no flaws. I had a crakced pedal and the bike would run but with Zero power, and bogged hard..acted just like a gummy carb
