Okay so i have been talkign to the guys @ Flotek and i am going to be sending my top end out for a P&P and a Bore. I'm not too sure what size to get it bored to its currently .020 over what should i go with? also i am going to go with a stroker+3 or +4 crank which should i choose and is the top of the cylinder the only thing needed to shave for the larger crank? i am still running stock axles, suspension, brakes, and carb also stock pipe and jetting. should i change the jet before i put the bike together? and should i change the clutch even tho it is all good? and the carb? keep stock or get an aftermarket? sorry for the questions!!! thanks you guys are amazing i cant wait til i can be on the recieving end and not have to ask but answer :)

only go up as much as you need...maybe .30-.40 over this time...

depends on how much you wanna spend...if you get the +4 you will have to spend the extra $ to get the case trenched in order for it to fit...

i would work on getting A/M pipe/carb...

i would wait and see what denny tells you about the jetting since he will be doing the machine work and could give you a good set-up...

if i decide to get the +3 instead will i have to get the cases trenched? and i was thinking of going .40 over or .50 over also sorry to sound stupid but what do you mean by A/M ? im gonna start looking for a pipe and a carb soon, after i send out the top end im gonna order the bottom end and by the time i get the top back ill have everything :) thanks for all of the help :)

A/M= aftermarket, only bore it just enough to clean up whatever damage is in there, you are not going to gain any power buy boring your cylinder bigger.

So, you've been talking to Flotek. Why not ask Denny these questions? I'm sure he can give you better answers than all the "opinions" on this board.

i dont know why i didnt ask him lol i guess im just an idiot lol ty for all of the input sorry to be a bother :]

always a good idea to dicsuss things like that with the guy doing the work, whoever it is. also, if the guy doing the work rides a quad with the same setup, he can give you near exact reccomendations on everything. jetting is wierd becasue the climate, altitude, temperature, etc affects the jetting. but somebody who rides the setups they have done some r/d (research and devolopment). they know how they ride and react to certain things, not just how much power they can make with certain setups like guys who own dynos. dynos however are a great tool. a combo of both will give you maximum enjoyment/performance. a dyno can tell you alot, if you know how to read a chart, its not all about peak performance. the curves (horsepower and torque) are the important part.

sometimes a "builder" will give you a horsepower rating. "it will probly make this much hp" well, if you can get a chance to get some dyno time and tinker with your setup, do it. it may surprise you. if the "builder" owns a dyno and has done a million setups like that, well the have obviously done their homework.

sorry for the rambling, but i felt it was all important info
