I just bought a blaster/ordered a bigbore kit

I bought a blaster from my friend. The oil injection line fell off the carb so it got now oil and messed it up. So i ordered a vitos big bore kit i should get it anyday.a is there any special way to rebulit it. I have rebuilt other dirtbike before. I juat wanted to know

welcome, u might want to get rid of the cast piston that comes with it and get the forged piston, they have been known to shatter around the skirt

and remove that oil injection that failed you the first time. before you install it get the piston as mentioned before, a good pipe, and a nice port job. that will really wake up your blaster.

make sure when you block off the oil injection you put a vacuum cap on the brass nipple like this.

ok i already got the oil block off kit from vitos i will order a wiesco for the kit so i dont have to worry about it.

PISTON-FORGED BIG BORE-USA...

i would get that, a wiseco piston for a 66mm bore wouldn't work in a bbk cause the piston would be 72mm.. are you going to jet the stock carb for the bbk or you going to pick up a bigger carb?.

welcome to the forum bro. as mention above forged piston, also remove TORS if it already hasnt been removed. there is a thread in the DIY section on removing TORS. if you are going with a BBK i would go with a 30mm or bigger carb and upgrade your reeds

IF your in need I have a 30MM OKO from Carbs parts warehouse... I seen it on ebay for 179.99 and certain other places for $139.00..

I would take $100.00 for mine.. just FYI is all might save you money.
comes with throttle cable and is like new!

for the 240 kit you would be best with a 34mm keihin pj or a 35 pwk.

Ok i will. I was checking to make sure i got pieces out and i found a crack in the case under the crank and it started leaking so i have to tear it down.thanks for the advice

good luck with it, you might want to put some new crank bearings and seals in there while its torn down.
