because everyone asks it. but ill word mine a little differently

"what exhaust should i get"...but ill tell you my plans and then tell me what would be best.

right now my blaster is stock, just have a filter and clutch kit. In a week or so im buying a stroker kit. then i would like to get exhaust. a few months down the road i would like to get some porting/boring done. so what would be a good exhaust to have for the time being and that will perform better with the portwork/boring

thanks and sorry for the repetitive question that everyone asks lol

I would talk to the person that is doing the port work on your engine. my thoughts are that if you looking for a band-aid until then I would get a fmf full exhaust for cheap off of ebay. otherwise you need to decide on the type of powerband that you want- low, mid, or top. the fmf is pretty good for a basic blaster and will preform fairly well for a modded blaster. I have had a Toomey, Shearer, FMF (twice), and stock and modified stock exhaust. I like the Shearer and it has a very strong mid-range and it revs better on top than the FMF but less than the Toomey and some of the other top-end biased pipes. For my next build I am going to go with either a CPI (big bore)or FTZ for my big bore stroker build.

Yeah man I just put on my F7 and it really wakes up up a stock bike. Not extremely loud but has a nice sound and with port work it really shines.

from my experience its hard to beat toomey, great pipe, i had motor work done andit was perfect for it, nice hit everywhere, the only other pipe i can really say is good is the LRD, very impreswsed with it on my friends quad and he also had motor work

i just got a used f7 with an lrd silencer, had the uni filter, tryd the 290 jet, pulled real hard but mighta been a little lean, put in the 320 jet and the 12 1" holes in the airbox lid that the toomey kit suggests and she freakin screams now, made me realize how bad i need tires, it'll spin 'em even in 6th gear

power pros,ct,fac.7,trinity,graydon...all same pipe built by the power pros...excellent choice for your build!
