Ok, I have an 89 yamaha blaster i just bought, the guy before me put a new top end in it pison, seals the whole nine yards. So i get it started, but it starts very very hard and takes a while, so thats my first problem. Second is that when i start it it sounds ungodly rattly and it wont idle worth anything. Thirdly i was wondering what kind of lube do u run for the transmission. I'd apreciate all info and input

Bel-ray gear saver is really good tranny fluid. as far as your rattle can you give us some details? top end ? bottom end ? tranny ? and a blaster is generaly very very easy to start. make sure the guy didnt screw up and forget the oil injection hose. that would explain alot but it also means your top end is toast :( but good luck
