yes they make a tool just for it.go to ur hardware store.it goes over the nut i forget what there called something like a nut extractor or something.i had this same problem when i was tryin to put my spacers on.i got all the nuts off exept 1 and hand to go this this tool.i just used it and took it back
i just torched it off it can be done with a steady hand..

Its happened to me before too. I used a torch to heat it up and hack saw, its a pita but its not that big of a deal.
I had a friend that took the whole hub off and drilled the stid out from the back side b/c he had a good set of rims he didnt want to damage. With Painted rims like yours I would just cut it off and repaint the rim if needed.
dog thats what the hell im sayin! haha. i have a nut "splitter" but it wont fit the whole nut in it...found a couple real quick on google. ACE has one, but im not in a position to be spending even 20 bucks right now. might have to wait till monday...

lol i like your avatar mr.gadget when i was young like 6 or 7 and my dad told me to do something while i was watching t.v then he'll come back and say something again like 2 mins later to do something else then id be like "Dad I'm not inspector gadget i cant do two things at once" lol... im sorry for being off topic but it jus brung back some old memories ....tear.....
Heres what you do I had the same problem so I have a neighbor that works on cars for a living and he just took a socket pounded it over the nut(it ruined the socket) and then just turned it off like you would do as if it wasn't stripped.
well im not really trying to destroy a socket too, so thats out. weird that a mechanic would just willingly break his tools.
