Insane is a very good word for it. I did put the timing back to standard and it would not run. It would start but when you gave it trottle it just cut out. I will take some photo's when I get the bike stripped again and it might shine a bit of light on the subject. I should start work on the bike on wednesday.
you'll prolly need to re-adjust the idle and possibly the airscrew to compensate for the timing, put the airscrew at 1 1/2 turns out to start, and turn the idle up, it was prolly way down with +10 timing
I'll throw my $.02 in. First, I can't believe you can keep a dub running, but not a Blaster???
You said you're mixing double 200ml to 4 litres of gas? So 400ml to 4 litres??? That's like 10:1! More is not necessarily better. Your fuel viscosity is way way up, and the actual gasoline content of the mixture is way way down. In conjunction with your jetting, you are running way way WAY lean. Richening your oil/fuel ratio will effectively lean your air/fuel ratio.
As has been stated, run 32:1 for a start, and get your timing into a reasonable range. (I'm running +4 and it is fine).
I am going to advance the timing the way it was said. + 4 degrees and take it from there. I will mix some new gas and start with a 280 or 300 jet and run the bike. The screw at the side is at 1.5 turns out so I might increase that slightly and see what happens. I will have to do all this in stages to see what makes the difference. As for the mixture I would have thought that putting more oil in would at least make sure the piston was getting some oil but when the engine was stripped it was as dry as a done. If the oil tank is removed and the bike is running it's getting fuel and oil. Why would it be so dry.
