Thanks phragle for this DIY. If I fiddle with'm I gotta ship'em to get the charge since no one for miles around does it. Thought maybe my argon would work but I'll just have to get a bottle of nitrogen & a fill kit. I'm sure there's lotsa folk round here would like to come borrow it I'm just too cheap for my own good.

i'm lucky, the yamaha dealer in town does them for about 10 bucks a shock

I do HVAC work and have a bottle of nitrogen on my van. Shouldn't be hard to rig up a hose to the regulator for filling a shock. Maybe you guys with no acces to it could try a hvac contractor. I'm sure some of them aren't gonna mess with ya but who know's. I know a smaller bottle of it is only like $18. So it's not like it's gold.
